Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Chat Street handles information when adults use our Android text-chat service, website and related support tools. Chat Street offers conversations with approved human Chatters and clearly labelled fictional AI characters. It is not a dating, audio-call or video-call service.
Information we collect
- Account details: mobile number, a generated anonymous alias, gender, one selected language, and confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Approximate location: coarse location used to find eligible Chatters nearby. We do not show another person your exact coordinates.
- Chat and safety data: messages, message status, session duration, reviews, blocks, reports and evidence needed to investigate reports.
- Wallet activity: coin packs, chat charges, virtual gifts, Chatter earnings, withdrawals and transaction references.
- Chatter information: first name, verification selfie/public profile image, availability, and payout-verification status. PAN and bank details are sent for verification only when a Chatter requests payout setup; Chat Street retains masked summaries rather than full values.
- Device and diagnostics: installation identifier, notification token, app interactions, crash diagnostics, device/app version and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, match compatible human users by language, deliver real-time messages and notifications, generate replies in an AI-character chat selected by the user, calculate coin use and human Chatter earnings, process safety reports, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers, including Google Firebase services and our hosting providers, to operate authentication tokens, real-time chat, notifications, diagnostics and storage. When you explicitly start a labelled AI-character chat, recent messages from that conversation are sent through OpenRouter to OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna to generate replies. OpenRouter and OpenAI may process that content under their applicable service terms. Payment, identity-verification and payout providers may process the information needed for those features when enabled. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the public, or Chat Street.
Retention
Normal readable chat messages are removed after seven days. Evidence attached to a safety report may be kept until the case is closed and for up to 90 additional days. Account/profile information is kept while the account is active. Transaction, fraud-prevention and moderation records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Security and choices
We use access controls, encrypted network connections and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure. You can deny location or notification permission, but related features may not work. You can block or report from a conversation.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account from Profile in the Chat Street app. If you cannot access the app, submit a request on our account deletion page. Deletion removes or de-identifies profile and contact data, deletes verification images and revokes devices. Limited transaction or safety records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or user-safety purposes.
Adults only and changes
Chat Street is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly provide the service to minors. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will be revised.
